Play Music on the Porch Day

Play Music on the Porch Day

Presented by Utah Humanities and Territorial Statehouse State Park at Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum

After a long day of work, who wouldn’t love spending some quality time with their family and neighbors jamming on the porch? This annual event is quickly becoming a tradition in Fillmore. Performers will discuss the work it takes to hone their talent and, in some cases, build their own instruments. Fun for the whole family!

This event accompanies the Smithsonian The Way We Worked exhibition, stopping in Fillmore from July 15 to September 9, 2017 at the President Millard Fillmore Library (7/15-8/11) and the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum (8/15-9/9). For more information, contact the Territorial Statehouse on 435.743.5316.

The Way We Worked, an exhibition created by the National Archives, is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum and the President Millard Fillmore Library.
