RADification Celebration

RADification Celebration

Presented by Better Days 2020 at Salt Lake City Public Library Main Branch

One hundred years ago, on October 3, 1919, Utah accepted – or ratified – the 19th Amendment as part of the U.S. Constitution. The Amendment gave women the right to vote. Even though Utah had been the first place an American woman voted under suffrage laws, women of color had to keep fighting for their voting rights for decades after the ratification. Celebrate Utah’s pioneering leadership of women with Better Days 2020 and our partners
