Welcome to this new online campaign to promote local arts in Magna, UT. For each of the 31 days in August 2021 we will post information about a different artist or arts group in town. Authors, musicians, visual artists and more!
People who live in Magna may certainly recognize some of these, or probably even KNOW some of them, but we hope that you will also be introduced to at least a few new creators. The Township is one of the smaller population areas in Salt Lake county at less than 30,000 people, so this event will feature more than one of every thousand residents.
Often the artists themselves will write their own posting, and will choose which aspects of their artwork to feature. Some of them will even mention ways for you to purchase their work.

This is an experiment in sharing an online Arts Promotion activity in our town. The annual Arts Festival normally held each year in August has been cancelled for the second year in a row (guess why) so this is being offered as a reminder that there is still big love for the arts, even in small towns.
