During October, The Eccles Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden will be presenting and exhibit of works by the members of the Utah Watercolor Society (UWS) and featuring the paintings of Wendy Dimick Smith in the Carriage House Sales Gallery.    A reception for the artists and public is planned to coincide with Ogden\'s Art Stroll on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The 2021 Utah Watercolor Society (UWS) Fall Members Exhibition will include water media paintings selected from 51 Utah artists.  Viewer are invited to enjoy the incredible efforts of UWS members. UWS is a 350+ member, non- profit organization formed to further the activity and interest in water media.  More UWS information is available at www.utahwatercolor.org.  The water media paintings will remain on exhibit through October 30, 2021.

Wendy Dimick Smith is currently an art instructor at Northridge High School in Layton, Utah.  Smith says “When I am not instructing; I am painting.  I am an ambitious artist.  I paint to make people feel good.  I receive satisfaction when a client picks up their painting and they get misty-eyed when they see my version of their children.”  While Smith enjoys painting portraits, she also paints landscapes, murals and numerous of the Ogden Pioneer Day horses.
