Armed Forces Day Concert

Armed Forces Day Concert

Presented by Choral Arts Society of Utah at The Gallivan Center

Music Director Sterling Poulson and the Choral Arts Society of Utah invite you to Gallivan Plaza in Salt Lake City for an evening honoring our men and women in the Armed Forces. It is a free event, and parking is free under the plaza. It highlights the soldiers, airmen and civilian employees who have excelled in their service to this country. This concert also gives the many Veterans and their families in our community the opportunity to stand up and be counted during the Armed Forces Salute.

The evening entertainment begins at 5:30 pm, with the 23rd Army Band Rock Band “Article 15.”  The band and choral concert starts at 7:00 P.M. It will include a variety of music, including the patriotic favorites you love to hear, concluding with a rousing rendition of John Philip Sousa’s Stars & Stripes Forever.
