Keith Haring used a graphic style to communicate about his life experiences. Learn about his symbolic style and incorporate graffiti-style images that talk about your life. Using white and metallic oil pastel on black paper, make a drawing that represents you.

October 13th Klimt Self Portrait in Gold

Klimt was a part of a group of artists that were tired of traditional art and wanted their art to symbolize something beyond the canvases. Using a combination of printmaking techniques and gold acrylic paint, put yourself in this era with this fun self-portrait.

October 20- Embossed Sketchbook

This exciting lesson gives students the opportunity to create their own personalized sketchbooks using both embossing techniques and bookbinding. Students will take home a personalized journal that they can use to write about their lives

October 27th- Day of the Dead Altars
