Plants Daydream of Trouble is a site-specific dance performance at the International Peace Gardens. The performances interact with the landscape and history of gardens as related to movement, sound, and space. The piece examines the choreography of plants, both in terms of physical gestures and their human-intervened transportation.
Concept by Mitsu Salmon. Choreography and performance made in collaboration with Peter Farrow, Hannah Huang, Jonathan Kim, Joshua Mora, Mitsu Salmon, Masio Sangster, Kellie St. Pierre, and Melissa Younker. Original music by Kiku Hibino, Milad Mozari and Wiliam Salmon. Made possible through support from loveDANCEmore, the Salt Lake Arts Council and the NEA.
