After running a successful kickstarter campaign to fund a remodel of its building facade, Ziegfeld Theater celebrates its Grand Re-Opening and the start of its 2015 season by presenting the family classic Fiddler On The Roof.
Fiddler On The Roof, beloved by audiences for over thirty years, tells the tale of Tevye, the dairyman, as he attempts to raise his daughters with a sense of tradition in a world of changing norms. Set in rural Russia at the turn of the century, the story shines a light on values of tradition, family and survival as Tevye, and ultimately the entire village, face obstacles to their faith and futures. Fiddler On The Roof is known for its timeless songs such as Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, and Matchmaker, and will leave audiences laughing and crying as they experience life in this unique culture.
The Grand Re-Opening event on Friday, February 6, will feature a special performance by guest artist and star of our upcoming production of Les Miserables, J. Michael Bailey, and will continue after the production with a small gala including a cast meet and greet, food and drinks.
Tickets are $12 for children, students and seniors and $15 for adults if purchased online. Tickets are $14 for children, students and seniors and $17 for adults if purchased at the door. Tickets no longer available online at 6:30 p.m. the night of the performance.
