Don Doxey, born in Ogden, Utah was a Salt Lake City painter known for his photo-realistic western still life subjects. He taught art for 33 years at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, after earning an MFA degree from the University of Utah, service in the Army, a brief career in television, and studies in New York at the American Art School.
