Around the Block
William (Bill) Kenneth Laursen was born in Carbon County and grew up in Salt Lake City and Brigham City. He studied painting at Utah State University under Harrison Groutage, Everett Thorpe and Gaell Lindstrom. Laursen was an art teacher at Cottonwood High School from 1972 to 2005.
