Born in Idaho and raised in Salt Lake City, Allen Robbins distinguished himself as an aviator, first flying in the Army Air Corps, then Western Airlines, and ended his career at the Federal Aviation Administration. Art was an avocation for Robbins. He produced sculptures later in life and collected art for his personal enjoyment.
