Little June Tree

Dale Thompson Fletcher was born in Logan, Utah. He was a painter and a teacher of studio, art history, and elementary education courses, skilled in the use of oils, watercolors, and acrylics. He began as an abstractionist, but later moved to a photo-realist style to paint contemporary suburban and rural subjects. He earned a BS from Utah State University in 1953, and an MFA from the University of California, Berkeley in 1956. He joined the art faculty at BYU in 1965 and taught there until he resigned to pursue the study of pyramidology.
