Primary Parallelgramite

Moab native Allen Bishop is a talented Utah artist who works primarily in large-scale abstract oils. He began his art studies with the noted abstract painter Donald Olsen, and later earned a BFA at the University of Utah, and an MFA from the University of Denver, with emphasis in painting, drawing, and printmaking. Allen has extensive experience in art education at the university, secondary and elementary levels. He was a recipient of a Utah Arts Council Fellowship Award.
