This piece by Ken Baxter is a giclee on paper mounted to artist’s board, and is on display in the City & County Building. Ken Baxter is a popular and successful Utah painter of landscapes and historic subjects. He was trained by the noted University of Utah artist and teacher, Alvin Gittins, and is himself an influential teacher-painter in Utah. His paintings are in important public and private collections in the state, and are offered by, among others, Southam Gallery, David Ericson Fine Art, Williams Fine Art, and F. Weixler Co., all in Salt Lake City, and from his studio.
