Camp Cloud Rim

Camp Cloud Rim sits at 9200 feet elevation on the shore of scenic Lake Brimhall in the mountains above Park City, Utah. It’s accessible by car from May through mid-October, weather permitting. Cloud Rim is available to be rented out by non-profit organizations, government organizations, schools, and universities when it is not being utilized by Girl Scouts of Utah programs.

The facilities are unavailable from mid-May through mid-August.

During the summer and fall seasons, Camp Cloud Rim has a main lodge, six cabins, eighteen platform tents, a unit of spring bar tents, and a smaller area within the Lodge designated as the Staff Lounge available for rent.

During the winter months, the Lodge is the only building available to rent and the rental group must provide their own access to the camp via snowmobile, snowshoes, skis, or snow cat.

A large amphitheater with two large fire pits sits above the lake shore next to the main lodge and serves as a meeting place for outdoor activities, campfire programs and can be utilized for outdoor cooking.

There are several mountain lakes located on the property with established hiking trails.

The outdoor face of the rock chimney serves as a climbing wall. Special arrangements must be made and the Girl Scouts of Utah must provide certified staff as part of a rental contract. Use of the climbing wall cannot be guaranteed with camp facility rentals.

Lake Brimhall is a very cold mountain lake and the Girl Scouts maintain a dock and boathouse on the lake shore. Use of the water front is prohibited unless special arrangements are made and the Girl Scouts of Utah provide waterfront staff as part of a rental contract. Potential water front activities include swimming, kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle-boarding, sailing and windsurfing. Use of the waterfront cannot be guaranteed with camp facility rentals.
