FILM
Science Movie Night: Never Cry Wolf
Presented by Natural History Museum of Utah at The City Library
November 13, 2012
Never Cry Wolf is based on the Farley Mowat book by the same name. Filled with beautiful imagery, the film dramatizes the story of Mowat's 1940s research into the relationship between Arctic wolves and declining caribou populations. While the book and movie have been credited with changing public perception of wolves, there continue to be debate about the accuracy of Mowat's observations of wolf behavior.
