Wasatch Community Gardens' mission is to help people grow and share fresh produce, to teach urban youth responsibility, cooperation and ecological awareness, and to be an active resource for sustainable organic gardening. Wasatch Community Gardens has four community gardens.

      Growing Greens Field Trip Wasatch Community Gardens Growing Greens Field Trip Presented by Wasatch Community Gardens at Wasatch Community Gardens May 1-October 30, 2012 Teachers! Get your 3-6 grade students out of the classroom and into the garden! Join Wasatch Community Gardens for a fun, interactive two-hour field trip where kids can get their hands dirty, eat some greens, and learn the Utah State Core nutrition standards. Field trips run May 1 – 31 and September 4 – October 30. All classes are held rain or shine, and are led by Wasatch Community Gardens' Youth Educators.
