Reverend Horton Heat
Presented by The Depot at The Depot July 29, 2010 The Reverend Horton Heat is perhaps the most popular psychobilly artist of all time, his recognition only rivaled only by the esteem generated by the genre's founders, the Cramps. The Reverend (as both the three-man band and its guitar-playing frontman were known) built a strong cult following during the '90s through constant touring, manic showmanship and a twisted sense of humor.

Their fifth studio album, entitled Together was released in May, 2010. Recorded throughout...

The Dodos
Presented by Salt Lake City Arts Council at Pioneer Park July 29, 2010 The Dodos, formerly a duo, now a trio, are known for their wildly percussive style. With their most recent release, Time to Die, the group's newest member, Keaton Snyder, adds his classically trained vibraphone skills to the mix. NPR calls The Dodos sound "propulsive," asserting that they're a band best experienced live, noting that "the constant conversation between...
