Encounter the spiritual vision of Persian poetry. Rasoul Sorkhabi, research professor at the University of Utah, will lead a discussion on “The Great Persian Poet Rumi: Who He Was and Why He Matters.” Rasoul Sorkhabi first encountered Rumi’s poetry as a young boy living in Iran. Rumi’s books have accompanied him in his life journey through India, Japan and the USA.
