A Bright New Boise

Wasatch Theatre Company takes on the regional premiere of A Bright New Boise to open their 19th season! In the break room of a Hobby Lobby in Idaho, someone is summoning The Rapture and trying to reconnect with someone from his past. Is there time?

Wasatch Theatre Company begins its 19th season with the regional premiere of  the Obie Award-winning play, A Bright New Boise, by playwright Samuel D. Hunter. Boise is an unexpected dark comedy about faith, family and the importance of making human connections. Most of the action in the play takes place in the break room of a Hobby Lobby craft store in Idaho, where the seemingly innocuous Will applies for a job. No one knows he has recently fled his rural hometown after a scandalous tragedy
