A Celebration of Cultural Diversity - Multi-ethnic Performing Arts Festival

A free family oriented multi-ethnic music and dance festival at Pioneer Park in cooperation with Downtown Farmers Market on Sat Sept 1, 2018 10am-2pm.

The 16 annual festival A Celebration of Cultural Diversity multi-ethnic performing art will take place Saturday Sept 1, 2018 10am – 2pm in partnership with the Downtown Farmers Market, Pioneer Park 350 S 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 organized by Salt Lake American – a Utah nonprofit 501c3 serving refugees in Salt Lake County since 2006.

Performers include:

  • Salt Lake Saints Jazz
  • Divya School of Dance from India
  • Japanese Kenshin Taiko Drummers
  • Samba Fogo
  • Utah Dholi
  • Eastern Arts Dances

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
