Cora Mae Taylor plays "Red, White, Blue & Green"

Cora Mae Taylor is a lifelong resident of Wayne County. “Red, White, Blue & Green” is the title track from her recent album, released in November 2023.

Born the day after Christmas in 1943, she grew up on Fish Creek Ranch and currently lives just outside Fremont. Cora’s mother told her she started singing as soon as she started talking. “And I’ve been singing ever since,” states Taylor.

Along with “Summer is Gone,” these tunes reflect scenes of her childhood on the ranch and the beautiful colors displayed in Wayne County. Cora, along with various musical friends, will come together to bring other songs she’s written to life.
