Craft Lake City & NHMU Present: Sun-Printed Cyanotype Workshop

In this NHMU Craft Workshop presented by Craft Lake City, Blackburn will teach participants how to create stunning sun-printed cyanotypes on paper and fabric using foliage and foraged materials.

Experienced local artist Chris Blackburn of Blackburn Studio uses vintage processes to create striking cyanotype prints and tintype photographs. Cyanotypes are cyan-blue prints created through an alternative photographic process invented by astronomer John Frederick William Herschel in 1842. In this NHMU Craft Workshop presented by Craft Lake City, Blackburn will teach participants how to create stunning sun-printed cyanotypes on paper and fabric using foliage and foraged materials.
