Craft Lake City Workshop: Pet Portrait Embroidery with Liz Vowles of Liz V. Embroidery

In this class, local fiber arts enthusiast Liz Vowles will teach you the secrets of manipulating your embroidery floss to achieve detail and texture even with just one thread color. She will show you step-by-step how to read your reference photo, outline your piece, go in with detailed stitchwork to make the piece really pop, and finish your hoop. All materials for this class will be provided, along with extra supplies to prepare you to create your own custom piece at home. Attendees will each receive a bonus $10 gift card to one of the shops or restaurants at Valley Fair for their next visit!

About the Instructor: Liz has cultivated a lifelong love for fiber arts ever since learning how to knit at age 7.
