We are excited to present Dvorak’s New World Symphony and Chabrier’s España in what is sure to be a delightful evening!
The New World Symphony is one of the most well-known and loved symphonies. Dvorak composed this work in 1893 while he was living in the United States. The beautiful melodies in this symphony were influenced by African-American and Native-American music as well as elements from Bohemia and the "Old World" of Europe.
