Grand Opening Reception, A World Transformed: the Transcontinental Railroad and Utah

A history exhibition on the 4th floor of the Utah State Capitol, in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad.

This exhibition will be on display from January 4th to June 26th. It includes exclusive photographs, lithographs, maps and artifacts from across the nation. The Grand Opening Reception is free and open to the public on January 23rd from 3-5pm. This is your chance to celebrate Utah\’s unique role in this pivotal piece of history. The exhibition curators will be available to speak with and ask questions. Please join us!

Jan 23, 2019: Beginning at 3pm with 15 minutes of brief conversation from USU and the Chinese Railroad Workers Association. Followed by the light food and optional tours and talks with curators.
