The Hostlers Model Railroad Festival is an annual event that brings nearly 9,000 visitors to Union Station the first weekend of March.
The entire building is filled top to bottom with model train displays and model train vendors. The 2014 Festival marked the 25th anniversary of the festival. The Hostlers Model Railroad Club is a wonderful supporter of Union Station, making a substantial annual donation and maintaining the Wattis Dumke Model Railroad in the Utah State Railroad Museum at Union
