Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Alf Engen Ski Museum and Utah Ski Archives are excited to induct three new members into the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame on September 25, 2019.

On September 25th, Darrell Robison, Erik Schlopy and Craig Badami join the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame.

Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Darrell “Pinky” Robison moved to Utah and began skiing at age 12 at Alta – where he hauled supplies to the Watson Shelter so he could ski for free.  He was a member of Salt Lake City’s East High School Ski Team and in 1948 was U.S. Junior Slalom National champion.Robison won the Harriman Cup downhill at Sun Valley in 1951, the Snow Cup at Alta in 1953

  1. I don’t know if this is the right place but here we go, My father is Bob J Bybee and he taught skiing for over 50 years and we went to a number of clinics throughout this region and he to pictures at every one of them and he passed away. I have a ton of pictures that I thought maybe you might like, just let me know and we can arrange how you can get them. Thank you
