John James Audubon Lecture

Jenn Waterhouse will speak about John James Audubon, namesake ornithologist and painter—his life, his work, and his enduring influence on ornithology. This lecture will also address the early development of Great Salt Lake Audubon and its current work in Utah. In addition, The City Library's incredible 1860 edition of Audubon's book, "The Birds of America" will be highlighted. One of only a handful of surviving copies of the 1860 edition, the book is filled with 150 life-size chromolithography
