Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Murray Arts Council will present as its annual summer musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, June 20-26 (excluding Sunday) at the Murray Park Amphitheater.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd created a hilarious as well as touching musical production of the Biblical tale of Joseph and his 11 jealous brothers and his coat of many colors. An immediate hit decades ago and ever since, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor comes to live again at the Murray Park Amphitheater, 450 East 5300 South, June 20-23 and 24-26, at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10. They can be purchased at the gate, at the Murray Parks and Recreation Office in the park, and online at It is open seating.

  1. Is this a parody? In one place I read Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat but in another I read Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat! That sounds hilarious! So which is it?

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
