We are excited to announce that we will be bringing Award-Winning Journalist Mary Mapes to campus March 30, 2020.
While working for 60 Minutes and CBS legend Dan Rather, Mary Mapes broke the story that exposed abuses of prisoners at a CIA-run prison in Abu Ghraib, Afghanistan. For that work, she won a Peabody Award, one of broadcast journalism’s highest honors. Later in 2004, she broke the story about President George W.
