We are excited to announce that we will be bringing Award-Winning Journalist Mary Mapes to campus March 30, 2020.

While working for 60 Minutes and CBS legend Dan Rather, Mary Mapes broke the story that exposed abuses of prisoners at a CIA-run prison in Abu Ghraib, Afghanistan. DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
