Junction City Blues Band featuring Dr. Forrest Crawford & Richie Kap

Join Excellence Concert Series in association with Lakehouse Studios, Utah Black Chamber, and Project Sucess for an evening celebrating the accomplishments of local black artists for Black History Month! This concert features the Junction City Blues Band with legendary professor Dr. Forrest Crawford on vocals.

Known to many as “Dr.C”, Forrest Crawford was a professor of teacher education at Weber State University. having retired after 43 years. Crawford is noted for his perennial outreach not just throughout Utah communities, but across the US and internationally. An award winner of numerous academic and community-based accolades, Dr. C has touched the lives of at least thousands through his teaching, training, and leadership initiatives.
