NOVA Chamber Music Series: Transfigurations

The NOVA Chamber Music Series is dedicated to presenting thoughtful and innovative chamber music programs performed by the finest resident musicians of Utah.

Soprano Celena Shafer sings a dazzling and moving cycle of songs by Strauss, while the exquisite artistry of Utah Symphony principal cello Rainer Eudeikis joins NOVA Artistic Director Jason Hardink in Michael Hersch’s riveting and intense Two Pieces for Cello and Piano. Other music by Michael Hersch is paired with a performance of Palestrinas Missa Brevis by Utah’s premiere early music choir, Cantorum Chamber Choir.
