Scandinavian Folk Dance: Basics for Beginners—  weekly classes

A series of classes for beginners. Each three- or four-part class will cover steps and techniques of a basic ballroom-type dance, such as the polka or waltz (but with their special Scandinavian folk character), along with several related line- or circle-type group dances. Over the course of several months we will cover the most popular folk dances of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland that we regularly enjoy at our twice-monthly recreational dances. ADMISSION INFO

$15 per person for 2 evenings or $22 per person for 3 evenings. Pay in advance or at the first class meeting (2nd Monday of each month.)
