Scandi Spring Fest - Folk Concert

Join us for an evening of Scandinavian Folk Music with Peter Michaelsen

Peter Michaelsen of Port Townsend, Washington has played folk music for 45 years, for the last 25 focusing on the fiddle music of Scandinavia. He plays both "normal" or “flat” fiddle and the unique Norwegian "hardanger" fiddle and has made numerous trips to "the old country" to study and perform.  In 2002 he was awarded a bronze medal in the Swedish National Competition for folk musicians (the Zornmärket), and he has played with several well-known Swedish groups, including Boda and Falun ... view more »
