The Man Behind the Curtian

Children’s author L. Frank Baum tells the story of how he transformed his fears and failures into the great American fairy tale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Dr. John Newman will perform his solo play The Man Behind the Curtain on THURSDAY, NOV 14 at the BOX CAR STUDIO THEATRE in Provo, at 156 W 500 S, performance starts at 7:00 PM followed by a free discussion of Dr. Newman’s research at 8 pm, sponsored by the Utah Humanities as one of Renaissance Now Theatre & Film’s season Humanities Participation Events. Admission is free to the 8 pm participatory talkback about the life and story of L. Frank Baum Performance tickets at Smithstix for $6.00
