Washington County Historical Society

The Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) is a non-profit organization formed to promote and perpetuate the history of Washington County, Utah. WCHS operates as an “umbrella organization” to encourage and assist all interested Washington County communities with the organization of their city historical societies and to encourage them to promote historical preservation in their communities.

The WCHS has been involved in many activities and projects since it was organized.  It maintains a website as a way of making our history readily available to anyone with internet access.  It sponsors lectures and events at the Pioneer Courthouse and well as leads tours through the historic building.
