    Murray Cultural Arts, part of Murray Parks and Recreation, plans year round activities in visual, literary, performing arts, and arts in education. Created in 1992, the department is well known for its summer Murray Arts in the Park program including lunch concerts, children matinees and the evening series in the Murray Park Amphitheater.

        About the artist:
        Fernando Espindola has been playing Andean music since his early teenage years in Bolivia. As a native of Oruro, the city famous for having the most elaborate carnival in Bolivia, he was exposed to a concentration of folklore that would be difficult to equal anywhere else.
