30th Anniversary Utah Juneteenth Freedom & Heritage Festival

Juneteenth is the oldest celebration marking the end of slavery in the US . The Juneteenth is replete with local & national cultural arts performances, arts & crafts, and activities & resources for the entire family.

This year marks the 30th Anniversary Utah Juneteenth Freedom & Heritage Festival and the 400th Anniversary of the First African Landing in this Country. The theme for the 2019 commemoration is “Honoring Our Ancestors” and includes a call for all to take time to collect and share their family stories and history.  The festival is filled with local and national performing artist, vendors, community resources and organizations, storytelling/spoken word, a parade, games and activities for all
