Traditional Sopes and Toppings: (Apr. 12th)
One of the most common street foods found all over Mexico is the Sope, a crispy cup or ‘boat’ made of tortilla dough that is fried and stuffed wih all sorts of toppings (salsa, beans, cheese). We will also explore two kinds of green salsa and a unique drink made with beets. Richard will have his cookbook “Daily Tortilla” available to purchase.
