Celebrating the Contributions of the Chinese Railroad Pioneers through historical and modern photos. You will learn the story of the struggle to build the First Transcontinental Railroad especially here in Utah.
In the 1860’s, two photographers captured the progress of road construction and the crews along the path of the two railway companies. Alfred A. Hart was the photographer for the Central Pacific while photographer Andrew J. Russell worked with the Union Pacific.
