Utah High School Dance Festival

The 15th Annual Utah Dance Education Organization (UDEO) State High School Dance Festival will take place. This year’s Festival will include approximately 20 High Schools, and 400 students, from all over Utah. The Festival, a one day event (plus special Friday night audition/master class) patterned after the American College Dance Festival (ACDF) and National High School Dance Festival (NHSDF), will feature master/technique classes and workshops, adjudication of student and professional choreographic works, and a closing Gala concert with presentation of awards and scholarships. The Gala Concert is a free event, open to the public which showcases student, faculty and guest artist work from each participating school. The Gala begins at 6pm on March 5 in the Randall Jones Auditorium at SUU. Tickets not required. More information available online at www.udeo.org.
