All-day Sacred Harp singing

Join us to sing together for the sheer joy of it

Sacred Harp or shape note singing is an American a cappella hymn singing tradition that emphasizes participation over performance. On September 28 from 9:00-3:30, we will have singers from all over the country join to sing together with great gusto. The words come from the Protestant Christian tradition, but singers of all faiths and no faith find meaning and power in the music and the words, and this singing is not connected to any denomination or church. Additional time info:

We will have a singing school on Friday September 27 at 7 pm. The all-day singing will be September 28 from 9:00-3:30. On September 29, we will have a half-day singing at the Spruces campground in Big Cottonwood Canyon. See for full details.
