Climate and Energy Film Series Screening of “Extreme Realities”

Westminster College presents a free film screening of Extreme Realities on Jan. 15, 2015, at 7 p.m., in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business Auditorium.

Extreme Realities investigates the link between severe weather, climate change and threats to our national security

Extreme Realities is the first of a three-part movie series on energy, sustainability and climate change, presented by Westminster’s Environmental Center and Utah Clean Energy.

Hosted/narrated by Matt Damon, the film investigates the link between extreme weather events, climate change and threats to national security. Featuring Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Thomas Friedman, World Bank president Jim Yong Kim, former CIA director James Woolsey, and environmental visionary Lester Brown, the documentary focuses on recent political conflicts and severe weather events in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, India, the Middle East, the United States and the Arctic.

The event is free and open to the public.
