Free screening of the documentary JOSHUA: TEENAGER VS. SUPERPOWER, the story of young citizens of Hong Kong taking to the streets in a bid to preserve their history of autonomy from China.

When the Chinese Communist Party backtracks on its promise of autonomy to Hong Kong, teenager Joshua Wong decides to save his city. Rallying thousands of kids to skip school and occupy the streets, Joshua becomes an unlikely leader in Hong Kong and one of China’s most notorious dissidents.

Free Admission. First come, first seated. Utah Film Center members have access to priority seating from 6:20pm-6:40 pm before the venue opens to all patrons at 6:40 pm.
