Memory Grove Cleanup

Volunteers work to weed, lay mulch and plant flowers in Memory Grove Park from 8am to noon, and a free lunch is provided!

The annual Memory Grove Park Cleanup, sponsored by the Greater Avenues Community Council is happening on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Memory Grove Park, 450 N Canyon Road, Salt Lake City 84103.

Under the direction of Salt Lake City Parks Department, volunteers will pull weeds, clear brush, lay mulch and plant flowers to help beautify Memory Grove Park.  All tools are provided by the City.  Wear work clothes and good shoes, bring water, a hat and sunscreen.  A free

DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
