Plein Aire Oil Painting Workshop II

Nancy Paris Pruden is an award winning artist from Houston, Texas who has taught workshops in Mexico, France, Ireland, and Italy as well as the U.S. She will be teaching two 3-day workshops in August here in Park City with emphasis on painting Plein Air. The workshop is open to all levels from experienced artists wanting to expand their knowledge to novice painters looking for a solid foundation in the basics of oil painting. After a morning introduction with instructional material and a demonstration at the Kimball Art Center, the class will go to various locations near town to paint outdoors, weather permitting. The workshop will concentrate on composition, color mixing, atmospheric perspective, edges, color temperatures, and values.
