Star Spangled Beatdown

Join the Happy Valley Derby Darlins at our annual 4th of July celebration! Five scrimmages will be followed by the main event: a thrilling bout that’ll leave your knuckles white, your face red, and our bodies blue. 

***This event is FREE for spectators who hold a Pass of All Passes! Just bring your current pass to receive free admission.***

We invite all skaters who hold WFTDA or USARS insurance to play with us. It’s just $10 to participate for the entire day ($5 for junior and beginner skaters). Skater check-in is at 1 pm, and there are 6 half-hour black and white scrimmages (2 are co-ed). The day will end with a challenge bout made up of HVDD captains and selected players from nearby leagues.

Doors open at 1:00; bout starts at 7:00 pm
Spectators are welcome! Tickets are $10 online, $12 at the door
Kids under 5 get in free

After the game, be sure to join us at The Madison for an awesome afterparty. Wear your wristband to get in for free!

SCHEDULE:

Skater check-in: 1 pm
Junior’s scrimmage: 2 pm
Beginner’s scrimmage: 2:45 pm
Women’s scrimmage: 3:30 pm
Coed scrimmage: 4:15 pm
Women’s scrimmage: 5 pm
Coed scrimmage: 5:45 pm
Challenge bout (Stars vs. Stripes): 7 pm
